Paid Relevant Persons Representative (PRPR)

Carmarthenshire, Pembrokeshire and Ceredigion Counties

12 month fixed term contract


30 hours per week


Starting Salary 21,229.00 (17,212.70 pro rata)

Applicants must have a background in Advocacy, a good understanding of the Mental Capacity Act 2005 and the 2009 amendment to the act to include Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS).


Full Driving Licence including your own transport with Class 1 business use insurance is essential as role involves travelling across Carmarthenshire, Pembrokeshire and Ceredigion.




The post include a 7% employers pension contribution (after probationary period) & 29 days annual leave, pro rata.

         can spare 1-2 hours a week (or more)

         have good listening and communication skills

         have an empathy with the needs of older people

         have a sense of commitment

         have a understanding of mental health or learning disabilities


we would like to hear from you


Full training and support is given.



All volunteers will be selected subject to interview, satisfactory references and a Criminal Records Bureau check.


We have a number of different volunteering roles


Wellbeing Drop-In, Over 50s Community Cafs, Friends of Coity Clinic (hospital inpatient), Sessional volunteers.
